I’m Veronica Gordon, a broadcast journalist turned media coach. I spent over 15 years in the media – across BBC local radio, ITV regional news and Unity 101 community radio. Today, I use those skills to help real people tell real stories with confidence, clarity and impact. I’m also the founder of Our Version Media, a not-for-profit amplifying black voices and challenging harmful narratives.
As a speaker, I share insights on media narratives and representation, people-powered media, lived experience and responsible storytelling, media for social change, and ethical AI use in media. My talks spark fresh thinking, challenge media tropes, and offer practical steps for change.
